Check out these free toilet paper tube crafts for kids. They are fun and easy to make. You can transform regular toilet paper tube into cute animals, binoculars and a pencil holder.


Giraffe



Materials:                                        


  • Cardboard toilet roll tube
  • White cardboard
  • Pair of scissors
  • Stapler
  • Crayons 
  • Paint


Method



  • Now paint the toilet roll tube.

  • Leave to dry.

  • Paint or color in the giraffe's body parts in the appropriate colors.

  • Cut out the head, tail and feet of the giraffe.

  • Staple on the legs.

  • Make one cut at the top of the one end of the tube. This is where the giraffes' neck will slide in.

  • Make another slit at the top of the other end of the tube. This   is where the giraffe's tail will slide in.

  • Now slide in the head and tail at the appropriate ends of the tube.

  • Your giraffe is now ready to roam the world.


Toilet Paper Tube Crafts For Kids 2 - Crocodile

Method



  • Now paint the toilet roll tube green.

  • Leave to dry.

  • Paint or color in the rest of the crocodiles' body parts.

  • Cut out the head, tail and feet of the crocodile.

  • Staple on the legs.

  • Make two cuts at the top and bottom of the one end of the tube. This is where the crocodiles' jaws will slide in.

  • Make another slit at the top of the other end of the tube.

  • This is where the crocodile's tail will slide in.

  • Slide in the jaws and tail at the appropriate ends of the tube.

  • Your crocodile is now complete.



Toilet Paper Tube Crafts For Kids 3 - Binoculars



Materials:


  • 2 empty toilet paper tubes
  • Aluminum foil
  • Glue
  • A piece of string or wool
  • Paint


Method:


  • Measure two equal strips of foil and cover each tube with foil and smooth down firmly.

  • The other option is to just paint the tubes.

  • Glue the two toilet paper rolls together lengthwise.

  • Pierce a hole through the outside of each roll near the end.

  • Tie a string through the holes, long enough to allow the             binoculars to be hung around the neck.


Pencil Holder



Materials:


  • Empty toilet paper tubes
  • Longer paper tubes
  • Paint
  • Cardboard
  • Pair of scissors
  • Pencil
  • PVA glue


Method:


  • Cut the empty toilet paper tubes into different heights.

  • Cut a circle out of the piece of cardboard.

  • Paint the card and all the tubes the same color.

  • Arrange the different sized tubes onto the card, this will form the base.

  • Once dried, glue them onto the cardboard base.




Toilet Roll Bunny




Supplies:

  • 2 toilet rolls ( without the paper)
  • Paint
  • Markers
  • 2 googly eyes
  • Cotton wool ball
  • Pair of scissors
  • Glue
  • Construction paper

Instructions:

  • Paint both toilet rolls in the same color. Let them dry.

  • Using construction paper draw two bunny ears and color the inner ear pink. Now cut out the two bunny ears.

  • Glue the bunny ears to the back of one of the toilet rolls, as you can see on the picture. Now glue the two toilet rolls together making sure that the ears are in between the two rolls.

  • On the front toilet roll glue on two googly eyes and draw on a nose, whiskers and a mouth using marker pens.

  • Lastly, glue on a cotton wool ball as a tail. This should be on the back side of the other toilet roll.
